Acceptable Use Policy

We paint pets. This page sets out, plainly, what we will and will not make — so there are no surprises for you and no ambiguity for us.
What we make
The Pawvre makes artistic portraits of animals — dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, birds and other companion pets. That is the whole of our service. Every commission is generated from a private model trained on the photos you send, and every image is reviewed by a human before it reaches you.
We do not create NSFW or sexually suggestive content
We will not produce sexual, pornographic, nude, fetish or sexually suggestive imagery of any kind, in any style, involving any subject. This is absolute: there is no artistic framing, no private request and no amount of payment that changes it. We do not offer an 'uncensored' or 'unfiltered' mode, and we never will.
We do not paint people
Our service is for pets only. We will not generate, edit, swap or manipulate the face or likeness of any human being — and never a child. Photos containing identifiable people are cropped to the pet or deleted when we screen your submission. We do not offer face-swap or deepfake capabilities of any kind.
Requests we will refuse
Alongside the above: imagery that is hateful, harassing, or demeaning toward any group; graphic violence, gore, or animal cruelty; content depicting real public figures; artwork intended to impersonate a real artist, brand or trademark you do not own; anything designed to deceive, defraud or mislead; and anything unlawful where you live or where we operate.
Photos you send us
You confirm the photos are yours to send, that they show your own pet, and that they contain no identifiable people and no children. Do not send photos you found online or that belong to someone else. Photos are used solely to create your portraits and are permanently deleted within 7 days.
How this is enforced
Because we work commission by commission, a person looks at every submission and every finished portrait. If a request falls outside this policy we will decline it and refund you in full — you will have paid nothing anyway, since payment only happens after you approve previews. Repeated attempts to commission prohibited content will end our working relationship.
AI disclosure
Your portraits are AI-generated artworks, created from a model trained on your pet's photos and human-reviewed before delivery. We say so plainly on this site, and delivered files carry an AI-content marker where required by law. We never present AI work as hand-painted.
Questions or concerns
If you believe something we have made breaches this policy, or you are unsure whether a request is acceptable, write to us before commissioning. We would rather talk it through than decline you later.
